What we do

What's included

We can take on the whole patio cover, or only the parts you need.

  • Open patio covers

A roof on posts and beams that stays open on the sides. Roof options include solid, glass, clear or tinted panels, and adjustable louvers.

  • Enclosed patios

Glass walls, windows or sliding doors that close in a covered patio, for spring-to-fall use or insulated and heated if you want to use it in winter.

  • Ceilings and wraps

Soffit ceilings under the cover, and wraps for the posts and beams.

  • Glass railings

Glass railings along the top of the cover or around the patio.

  • Drainage

Covers are usually built with a slight slope, gutters and downspouts to carry rain water away. We plan this with you.

  • Lighting

Lights in the ceiling of the cover, wired by a licensed electrician.

How it works

From first visit to final check

Timing depends on measurements, material availability, fabrication and access. We'll explain the expected schedule with your quote.

  1. Site visit

We look at the patio, how it connects to the house, where rain water should go, and how you want to use the space.

  2. Measuring

We measure the patio and the wall it attaches to, check heights at doors and windows, and note access for materials.

  3. Design & quote

Open cover or enclosure, roof type, glass, finishes, lighting and drainage, with the expected schedule.

  4. Building

The structure goes up first, then the roof, ceiling, wraps, glass and any lighting, and the area is cleaned up.

Common questions

Before you call

More answers in our full list of questions, or call (647) 504-4338.

What's the difference between a patio cover and an enclosure?

A patio cover is a roof on posts and beams that stays open on the sides. An enclosure adds glass walls, windows or sliding doors to close the space in.

Can I use an enclosed patio in winter?

It depends on how it's built. A standard enclosure keeps out rain, wind and bugs from spring to fall. If you want to use it in winter, it can be insulated and heated. We'll explain what that involves for your space when we quote.

Which roof should I choose?

A solid roof gives full shade, glass and clear panels let light through, and adjustable louvers let you open or close the roof. We'll go through what suits your patio and the rooms behind it.

Can you do just part of the job?

Yes. We can build the whole patio cover, or just the parts you need, such as the roof, the ceiling, post and beam wraps, glass walls or the railing.

How is rain water handled?

Usually with a slight slope on the roof, and gutters and downspouts that carry water away from the patio. We plan the drainage with you during the site visit.
